Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of puzzletivity.com (the "Site") and any purchase of books from it. The Site is operated by Inboxsmith, LLC, which sells books under the brand name Puzzletivity ("we," "us"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Eligibility
The Site is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. Parents and guardians may buy books for children.
Our products
We sell printed puzzle books and activity books. Product descriptions, page counts, sizes, and images are provided as accurately as we can, but small differences in color, trim, or layout can occur between printed copies and on-screen images. Books are puzzles and activities for enjoyment; they are not educational, medical, or professional services.
Orders and pricing
- All prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Prices may change before you place an order.
- Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it, for example if a title is unavailable, there is a pricing error, or we suspect fraud. If we decline an order after payment, we will refund you in full.
- Sales tax is added where required by law.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying, you confirm you are authorized to use the payment method.
Printing, shipping, and refunds
Every book is printed on demand. Production times, shipping, replacements for damaged or misprinted books, and refunds are described in our Shipping and Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.
Our shop status
At the time of this effective date the online shop is not open for purchases. Provisions in these terms about orders apply once purchasing is available.
Intellectual property
The Site and the books we publish, including text, puzzles, layouts, artwork, and the Puzzletivity name and logo, belong to Inboxsmith, LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. When you buy a book, you own that physical copy and may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, scan, redistribute, or resell its contents, or use the Puzzletivity name, without our written permission. Teachers and parents may make a small number of copies of a page for use with their own students or children only with our written permission, which you can request by email.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the Site. This includes attempting to break or overload it, probing for security weaknesses, using automated tools to collect data from it, submitting false information, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. By using the Site, you acknowledge it.
Disclaimers
The Site and our books are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these terms, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inboxsmith, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our books. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and the laws of the United States where applicable, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by talking it through will be brought in the courts located in Texas, unless the law of your home state requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Orders are governed by the terms in effect when the order was placed.
